Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Matt Chapman has been on fire since Opening Day, terrorizing opposing pitchers with his bat. Through 27 games, Chapman continues to bat around .384 with a 1.152 OPS.
Chapman's hot start at the plate is only half the story. He's been equally as valuable with his glove, playing incredible defense at third base and helping to anchor the Blue Jays' infield.
With his exceptional start, it's no surprise that Chapman was named the AL Player of the Month.
While the Player of the Month is a wonderful honour, Chapman has his sights set on even bigger goals. He wants to help lead the Blue Jays to the playoffs.
